Accessibility

Kave Immersive Ltd (Registered Company Number 11739132) or "KAVE" or "The Company" recognises the importance of providing a website that is accessible to everyone and easy to use.

The intention of this accessibility notice is to demonstrate our commitment to making our online services accessible and explain the accessibility features of this site.

Standards compliance

KAVE's web pages conform to a minimum Level 1 (A) compliance as specified by the Web Content Accessibility guidelines. In the future we aim for the majority of Level 2 (AA) and 3 (AAA) requirements to also be met.

Increasing the text size

We have used style sheets throughout, and users can increase or decrease the size of the text by using the browser 'Text Size' options in the 'View' menu.

Measures to support accessibility

KAVE takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of The Company website:

• Includes accessibility as part of our mission statement.
• Integrates accessibility into our procurement practices.
• Appointment of an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson.
• Provides continual accessibility training for our staff.
• Includes people with disabilities in our design personas.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. KAVE’s is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Additional accessibility considerations - Although our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria: Images of text are only used for decorative purposes. Re-authentication after a session expires does not cause loss of data. Some videos have sign language interpretation.

• Comments from users: uploaded images may not have text alternatives because we cannot ensure the quality of contributions. We monitor user comments and typically repair issues within 10 business days. Please contact us to raise an issue.
• Archived documents: might not work with current assistive technologies because they use outdated technologies that do not support accessibility. We convert documents to new formats upon request within 3 business days. Please contact us for support.
